« Making investment easier for more financial freedom » : in 3 minutes, Birdee has seduced the BNP Paribas International Hackathon jury during the grand finale which took place on December 2 in Paris. After a first victory last June in Brussels, the Liège-based start-up team has won again the top price in the category « Artificial intelligence and robo advisors », but this time in a worldwide competition. 19 selected start-ups were gathered from 8 Fintech capitals (San Francisco, London, Paris, Brussels, Rome, Berlin, Warsaw and Istanbul) for this Hackathon with the objective to present innovations that will design and define « the bank of tomorrow ». One over-arching theme at the very center of this competition : client’s experience. And it is precisely around a completely new client’s experience that the Birdee team has demonstrated their work : a fully digital and inclusive savings solution, ready to be deployed by financial institutions. The 3 minutes pitch focused on the case of a young mother looking for the best way to invest her money. During the awards ceremony, the jury has particularly praised the quality and the intuitiveness of the client journey and interaction offered by Birdee. « We have built our platform with the obsession to make it innovative, educational, intuitive, and, above all, engaging for everyone » stressed Geoffroy de Schrevel, Gambit Financial Solutions CEO. « Our objective is to meet the new and rapidly evolving expectations of banks’ customers, looking for more autonomy, more proximity, and technology augmented services. » The BNP Paribas International Hackathon is a fantastic showcase for the next developments of Gambit's solutions.
