Job Description:

We’re looking for a motivated full-stack developer to join us in building world-class customer-focused software. In this role, you will be a technical influencer in our front-end development team who needs to grant technical testing knowledge.

You’ll join a cross-functional team composed of Business Analysts, Developers and Project Managers. Your profile will be technically oriented with a passion for testing.

Working as a Full-Stack Developer

This person will be assigned to a squad that’s responsible for the development of existing customer products or internal R&D investment; implementing/improving features, technical improvements, modernize application architecture and so on. Each squad will also be responsible for the maintenance of what they developed: 85% development / 15% maintenance.

Depending on your progress and ability in mastering Gambit’s technical architecture and business, you will gain autonomy and responsibility in the analysis and design of new features.

• Implementing the frontend components of the applications, in accordance with the specifications provided by the Business Analysts
• Participating in the estimation of our new frontend and backend-for-frontend (BFF) developments.
• Participating in the implementation of the visual design of the applications, based on the wireframes and mockups provided by the UX designers et graphic designers
• Working in close collaboration with the business analysts, UX designers, backend developers, and testers
• Participating in our agile software development process
• Contributing to technical meetings, and participating in code reviews
• 2+ years of experience as a full-stack or frontend developer with proven experience with ReactJS
• Experience in web development using the latest versions of JavaScript, HTML & CSS
• Working knowledge of responsive design.

• Understanding of browser security (i.e. CORS, cookies)

• Experience in Node.js or Espress.js
• Experience in TypeScript
• Experience in software engineering specializing in medium to large scale software development projects.
• Capacity to contribute to best practices and provide technical solutions.
• Working knowledge of code bundling, task running and package management.
• Understanding of JavaScript-based E2E testing with frameworks such as Cypress / Playwright or Selenium
• Exposure to Agile / SCRUM methodology.
• Experience with CSS pre-processor technologies (SASS).
• Experience with front-end state management solutions (Redux).
