What's your background before joining Gambit's family?
I first did my final year internship at Gambit as an accountant. After graduation, I did the maternity leave replacements for my two colleagues: Jennifer and Rahaf. Afterwards, I was hired at Gambit on a permanent contract. Professionally, Gambit is my first job.
What were your reasons for joining Gambit?
I chose Gambit for my internship because it was still a small company with young, dynamic and authentic people. I liked the diversity of the tasks I was offered. The atmosphere and multiculturality are very present at Gambit, which is quite rare in other companies.
Can you describe your job at Gambit?
My tasks are quite varied and every day my activities are different. My main tasks are recruitment, onboarding, fleet management, contact with employees. On top of that there are administrative tasks: contracts, social documents, letters, ...
What do you enjoy most about your work?
It's a job where you're constantly in contact with people and the variety of tasks is daily. These are the two things I appreciate the most. Every day is always different.
What are the challenges of your job?
In our team we often have to be flexible in situations that are sometimes unexpected.
What are the two essential assets in your job?
Organization and listening skills.
In your opinion, what are the challenges in the Fintech industry that Gambit will have to face?
To continue to innovate and evolve its products in a world where competition is increasingly strong.
